My guess it is an old picture which includes the Win XP kit and the hardware may be slightly outdated as well …
Shipping a laptop at that proicepoint with Vista may have been a better move. I bet it would outsell its Linux counterpart …

With a 2 Gig solid state hard drive? I don’t think so! There isn’t a version of Vista that would even fit on there, is there? (Or of XP for that matter).
And even if there was, we all know how Vista fairly zips along in 512 Meg of RAM – not.
