Microsoft is developing a number of End user trainings for the adioption and use of SharePoint. I actually had a meeting with Bob Sutton last Friday, Bob is a Product Manager in the SharePoint team responsible for the developement of the Windows SharePOint Services Applications and these trainings. Good stuff Bob 🙂
We have launched the Collaboration module of the end-user Office SharePoint Server Training as a preview on MS Connect. This first module will be followed by five more pillars that offer training on Business Process and Forms, Enterprise Content Management, Search, Business Intelligence, and Portals and Personalization. The training helps information workers become productive using Office SharePoint Server and WSS.
The Office SharePoint Server Training will make it easy for IT departments to help their internal customers adopt and use Office SharePoint Server.
The training, written by the Office Online User Assistance group, includes a video, interactive tutorials, and articles. It is built on the Microsoft SharePoint Learning Kit. It includes a reporting function that allows an administrator/trainer to track learners’ completed training topics.
The training can be customized to fit the look and feel of your own Office SharePoint Server site. You can also add custom training and remove training topics.
