A Dutch site, Pocketinfo.nl, features a review of a new UMPC which will be released in the June/July timeframe. To be honoust I have not worked with an UMPC yet and what primairly has held me back with regards to purchasing one was the fact that when the first generation hit the market running Windows XP, I was already working with Windows Vista. Well, the new ones have Windows Vista, so that’s not an excuse anymore ;-), than there’s the price : 999 Euro’s which is very expensive still when you compare it to a good laptop for example. For the multimedia experience Microsoft has created Origami Express which is sort of a Mediaplayer / Mediacenter type shell which allows for easier navigation.
