No I hadn’t. In fact I am surprised at how little Vista advertising there has been!

You ahve a point there. I do see the ad a lot on television (5 times per evening on various channels) but besides that I have not exprienced a bog hype.
Having said that, family and friends (most of them non geeks)all know Microsoft has released a new OS called Vista. SO my conclusion is that the apporach and marketing did do it’s job.
What about you, have you given Vista a testdrive already ?
Not. Too hardware challenged for it at the moment at home. And no immediate plans for it in the workplace.

it’s worth a try for the home poc. I am planing to build or buy a new MediaCenter. Fully fanless and fully Vista 😉
