Microsoft on Tuesday said its was licensing its wireless synchronization protocol for Exchange Server 2003 to rival PalmOne, which plans to incorporate it into its next generation of smartphones.
Interesting development. Although competitive against Windows Mobile devices, it allows Palm users of these devices to sync directly against the MS Exchange server without the need for additional gateways solutions.
