Cool feature …
Thanks to Patrick at MSBlog for pointing to Mayuk’s post on setting up Windows Mobile 6 to synch Hotmail email as the messages arrive, “pushing” your email to your phone without having to log on and retrieve it. This often talked about functionality has only been available to Blackberry users, Windows Mobile 5 users on Exchange 2003 SP2 (and Exchange 2007), and will be coming (with Yahoo Mail) to the iPhone, according to Steve Jobs.
But by setting up your Windows Mobile 6 device with Windows Live Hotmail, your email can be pushed to you now, without a Blackberry account, without Exchange, and without an iPhone. Very cool.
