Microsoft will increase their R&D spend to $7 Billion and contiues to be in the top ranks of companies with high R&D spend. The new fiscal year start tomorrow (1/7/2004).
“We will spend as a company almost seven billion dollars in the next year on R and D,’ Ballmer said in a speech at Tokyo’s prestigious Keio University.
Microsoft Corp. has a budget of 6.9 billion dollars for the current year ending this month, an eight percent increase from the year earlier.”
