Vandaag start Microsoft één van de grootste advertentiecampagnes uit de bedrijfshistorie. Centraal staat het ‘Windows XP ecosysteem’, maar de campagne duurt 15 maanden en dient zo als rode loper voor Longhorn, de opvolger van XP. [Via Huize Zeezicht Nieuws]
Adobe, bekend van grafische software en het pdf-bestandsformaat, neemt Macromedia over, het bedrijf dat onder meer Flash-technologie ontwikkelt. Met de transactie is een bedrag van 3,4 miljard dollar gemoeid, dat wordt betaald in aandelen. [Via ZDNet.nl NEWS]
