I just purchased my new digital photography “kit”:
The Nikon D80 + Nikon AF-S 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6 G DX VR IF ED.
Joris will hate me for choosing Nikon over Canon ;-), but quite some colleagues have this camera (or its predecessor) and this lens and they are very enthusiastic about it.
Next steps
- Waiting for the postman
- Practice, practice practice
- Upgrade my Flickr account
- Show off my “art” (this will take some time)
Congrats. You’ll really enjoy it. I bought the 70-300VR lens and I love it. I have my eye on a D300 maybe in the future, but I need to convince myself I really need it (which I don’t).
